Fathia Muhammed is a graduate of Binghamton University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Education. She plans to attend law school and is particularly interested in criminal defense, immigration, and constitutional law, while remaining open to exploring other areas of the legal field.
Fathia previously interned with the New York City Office of the Comptroller and has held multiple administrative positions, where she developed strong organizational, research, and client service skills. She is currently interning for the Law Offices of Natasha H. Applewhite where she has been practicing legal research, drafting, and other related work.
Raised in Brownsville, Brooklyn, her passion for the law is rooted in a lifelong commitment to advocating for underserved communities. She is driven by a deep belief in equity and justice and is committed to using the law as a tool for systemic change.
